Damonte was featured on the Fox 6 Adoption Connection in October of 1999. Like the majority of our stories, he was on the program in order to help him find a loving adoptive home. But the second time Damonte was featured, he was staring with a whole new supporting cast – his family. Erik Lee and Emily Van Dunk had already fallen in love with Damonte when they saw the Adoption Connection, but they credit his feature as one of the factors that made them so anxious for Damonte to join their family.
