Coley at Adventure Rock March 2005

With a little encouragement, Coley is talkative, articulate and animated - he just gets nervous around new adults. He would very much like to be in a home where he could have a Mom and a Dad, as well as brothers and sisters. Coley does have a sister who he would like to remain in contact with. He is a great help to his current foster parent and Coley really wants to be adopted.
He is in good health and has no medical problems to note. Coley is a very bright and articulate young man and he is attending regular education classes. He has had problems with aggression and not following directions while in the classroom. He needs his family to help and encourage him to complete his homework.

Coley is interested in sports – especially football. He was a big fan of Reggie White. He also enjoys playing video games. Coley needs direct supervision from his family. He is most often well behaved, but does have a tendency to test his limits with authority figures. He needs clear boundaries and limits in his home. Coley has a very good potential for attachment with his adoptive family after a reasonable pre-placement visit process.
