Andrew is a very friendly and caring teenager who honestly likes to do what he can to help out around the house – even cooking! He needs a structured home environment where he can be provided with loving supervision and patience.
Andrew is in good physical health. He does take several medications, however, to address bi-polar disorder, major depressive disorder and an anxiety disorder. He’s currently attending special education classes for school. Andrew enjoys sports and he seems to get along the best with younger children as he assumes a brotherly role with them. He enjoys outdoor activities and sports, but Andrew is just as willing to lend a hand to help as he is to run outside to play.

Andrew has demonstrated an ability to attach, although settling in and getting to know his adoptive family may be a slow transition. He does demonstrate angry outbursts at times, so Andrew needs a family who can help him address his anger. In addition, Andrew needs guidance and boundaries from his adoptive family, as well as acceptance and understanding.
