Beverly Taylor
Reporter/Anchor Fox 6 News

I can still remember the day I anchored my first newscast. The moment I got home my grandmother raised from her sick bed and gave me a big smile and a kiss. She viewed my profession as important and she expected people in it to be truthful and responsible. I still agree with her assessment.

I'm a native Tennessean. I attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Upon completion, I landed my first television news job as an anchor/reporter at WBBJ in Jackson, Tennessee .

My next stop was in Huntsville, Alabama, at WAAY, where I anchored and reported and won several awards. But, my most memorable experience while there was going back to my hometown to do special reports on the arson of black churches, specifically the church my family attends. The same church the President visited.

From the deep south of Alabama I headed north to FOX 6. As a reporter/anchor my biggest adjustment has been coping with the winters. Grasping the Green Bay Packers craze was much easier. If you have a suggestion or story idea for me, don't hesitate to give me a call.
