ADOPTION ARTICLES

Welcome to our section of helpful articles. We hope this information is helpful to you.

We would like to extend our thanks to two great partners in the development of these materials. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration on Children, Youth and Families supported development of a curriculum that we utilized in conjunction with video conferences in Wisconsin during1997-1998. We would like to thank them and share these materials that were developed with their help.

We would also like to thank the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin for their support in developing post-adoption guides for families.

Our thanks to these gracious supporters and to all the writers, families, and readers who reviewed and helped develop this material over the past few years. Everyone's commitment to helping children grow up in nurturing families has made these projects possible.

Note to families outside Wisconsin: If you are interested in any of the audiotapes listed in these guides, you may want to contact Von Ende Communications for their resource listing. Von Ende Communications has provided audio taping services at all the North American Council on Adoptable Children conferences. They can be reached at 320-589-1092. A majority of our tapes were produced from past NACAC conferences.

Our videotapes are available from a number of different resources. You can find a wonderful listing of materials at the National Adoption Information Clearinghouse's web site http://naic.acf.hhs.gov/index.cfm
